Orez de conopidă

Acesta este o cunoscută rețetă folosită ca substitut de orez. Cum nu se poate mai simpla, rapid și ușor de făcut, este un înlocuitor ideal al orezului în mâncărurile asiatice.

Unii gătesc această rețetă rapid (3-5 minute), cu capac, însă eu prefer să gătitul mai de durată, fără capac, așa încât rezultatul să fie mai apropiat de orezul fiert al dente.

orez de conopida – pregatire

Răzălește conopida pe răzătoare, partea cu găuri mari, direct în bol. Conopida trebuie sa fie făcută bucățele mici, cam de marimea boabelor de orez. Atenție la unghii și la degete!
Soția mea preferă să folosească robotul de bucătărie pentru a mărunți conopida, in modul pulsație. Este mult mai rapid și mai sigur pentru degete însă e nevoie de pricepere. Macină conopida prea mult și te alegi cu o pastă. Prea puțin și ies pietricele în loc de boabe de orez.

  • adaugă 1 lingură ulei de cocos.

Folosesc această mâncare ca și garnitură, în loc orez. Îl servesc ca pe orez – fie intr-un bol mare de unde își ia fiecare cât dorește, fie, daca pregătesc eu porțiile, exact ca și cum aș avea de-a face cu orezul.
